Ron Smith Buick GMC Preferred Owner Program Terms and Conditions (August 2010) The following document describes the terms and conditions on which Ron Smith Buick GMC offers you access to and use of the Ron Smith Buick GMC Preferred Owner Program. Overview of the Preferred Owner Program The Ron Smith Buick GMC Preferred Owner Program is a loyalty program sponsored by Ron Smith Buick GMC through which owners can earn points on service, parts and accessory purchases. Those points can then be redeemed on future service, parts and accessory purchases. A. Participation in the Preferred Owner Program 1. Upon enrollment you will receive three Preferred Owner Cards that link to your account that can be accessed at http://www.gmpreferredowner.com.. We encourage you to attach these cards to any vehicle key ring in your household.
2. The Preferred Owner Program is open to all Ron Smith Buick GMC customers who are over the age of 18 and have a valid email address.
3. Employees are eligible to participate in the Preferred Owner Program.
4. Fleet customers or wholesale customers are not eligible to participate in the Preferred Owner Program.
5. Participation in the Preferred Owner Program constitutes each Preferred Owner’s full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
6. The personal information that is collected from you in connection with the Preferred Owner Program will be used in accordance with the GM Privacy Policy.
B. Earning Points 1. Earn 3% of net customer pay amount on any service (includes oil changes and tire rotations), parts, or accessory purchase (excluding taxes) on any vehicle in your household. 2. Factory or extended service contract repairs, insurance claims, or deductible charges are not eligible to earn Preferred Owner points. 3. Buy 4 regular (non diesel or discounted) Oil changes & Tire Rotations (must complete both services) get one complimentary non diesel Oil Change & Tire Rotation. Excludes coupons, discounts and special offers. 4. Buy 4 regular (non discounted) Diesel Oil Changes & Tire Rotations (must complete both services) receive $20 off your 5th Diesel Oil Change & Tire Rotation. This will NOT use up any of your preferred owner points, it is a discount given by Ron Smith Buick GMC. Excludes coupons, discounts and special offers. 5. Buy 4 regular (non discounted) Full Synthetic Oil Changes and Tire Rotations (must complete both services) receive $20 off your 5th Full Synthetic Oil Change and Tire Rotation. This will NOT use up any of your preferred owner points, it is a discount given by Ron Smith Buick GMC. Excludes coupons, discounts and special offers. 6. Log on to your account at gmpreferredowner.com and click on the “Points Plus” button and shop at over 300 retailers. Offers vary from retailer to retailer, but you will earn points to spend at Ron Smith Buick GMC based off of your purchases at these retailers through your gmpreferredowner.com account.
C. Redeeming Preferred Owner Program Points
1. Points cannot be redeemed against Oil Changes and/or Tire Rotations due to buy 4 get one FREE or $20 savings on diesel oil changes offers as listed above.
2. Preferred Owner Points are NOT combinable with other coupons and special offers, but you may earn points based on net customer pay after using other coupons/special offers outside of Preferred Owner Program.
3. Preferred Owner points have no cash value.
4. Preferred Owner points are non-transferable.
5. Preferred Owner points can only be used at Ron Smith Buick GMC.
6. Returnable items purchased with Preferred Owner points will not be exchanged for cash. The returned item’s program value will be returned to the preferred owner’s account. Restocking fees may be applicable.
